Hip-Hop fans are still processing the week-early release of Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly" and clearly attacked his Spotify page when news of the album dropping unexpectedly broke, as he just set an impressive record on the music streaming site.

According to a Spotify press release, Lamar's new album was streamed more than 9.6 million times on Monday (March 16), the day it dropped out of the blue. This sets the global record for the most album streams in a single day worldwide on Spotify. Spotify is available in 58 markets and has more than 60 million active users who clearly were ready for that new K. Dot.
