Kobe Bryant's marriage with his wife Vanessa seems better than ever today, but the famed basketball player explains that they were going through a rocky time ten years ago. The Lakers baller opened up during a sit-down for the Showtime documentary series "Muse," and reveals that he feels responsible for his wife's miscarriage back in 2004.

Kobe was going through a devastating rape case in Colorado at the time, and while he didn't specifically mention the lawsuit, which was dismissed after the accuser wouldn't testify, 2004 sticks out as a troubling moment in his history. After mentioning that there was a lot of stress around them at the time, Bryant says he feels like Vanessa's miscarriage was his fault.

"We were expecting ... and um ... expecting our second child during that time ... and there was just so much stress, she actually, she actually miscarried. It's something ... I have a real hard time dealing with that 'cause I felt like it was just my fault. The reality is it happened because of me ... that's something I have to deal with. Something I gotta carry forever."
