Afroman recently landed himself in some hot water after a video surfaced of him hitting a fan who rushed the stage at a recent concert in Biloxi, Mississippi, and the rapper revealed that he no longer wants to do live shows.

The "Because I Got High" rapper took to Facebook to explain his decision while also detailing his misfortunes over the years. Afroman told fans that he has been working hard to pay off an IRS debt after his accountant made some major mistakes during his early career. He was later hit hard financially after claiming the DEA stole $10,000 in show money after he was pulled over in St. Charles, Missouri.

He ended his statement by saying, "I no longer have the desire to perform for people. I will continue to record I will continue to make albums I will continue to make videos I will continue to make movies. Forgive me my debts as I forgive my debtors. I want to thank all the fans that forgave me."
