Amar'e Stoudemire's time with the Knicks has come to a close, as just one day after reaching a buyout agreement, Stoudemire has reportedly "committed to sign" with the Dallas Mavericks.

According to RealGM's Shams Charania, it isn't clear exactly how Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle will utilized Amar'e on the court, but he may provide the team with a great scoring and rebounding option when he's not sitting out due to injuries. The Mavericks are currently in the fifth spot in the Western conference with a 36-19 record.
