Jagged Edge member Kyle L. Norman, was recently arrested after his fiancee was checked into the Atlanta Medical Center on Thursday, January 29th, after the singer allegedly wrecked her face.

Shortly before 5 a.m., Atlanta police were alerted to a disturbance at their residence on the 200 block of Peters Street.  According to an email sent to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Norman's fiancee whose identity has been withheld, was visibly shaken up and showed clear injuries from the beating.  She apparently had swelling under both of her eyes, a cut on her nose, blood clot in her right eye, and what was described as a "golf ball-sized knot on her forehead."

The altercation allegedly started over an argument about drinking to which she claims Norman threatened that "she was gonna die today."  She also claims that he then proceeded to punch her, strangle her with the scarf that she already had wrapped around her neck, and even shoved her engagement ring down her throat.  To make matters worse, Norman broke her cellphone, but she managed to get her hands on his and fled to a neighbor's house where she phoned the police for help.

Police didn't arrest Norman at the residence, but later found him running down a sidewalk to which he quickly shouted to them "I need to go to jail."  Kyle's explanation for why he assaulted his fiancee was that "he was upset about his dad having cancer and that's the reason he got so mad at his fiancée."

He is currently being held behind bars at the Fulton County Jail facing a charge of aggravated assault.
