Still reeling from the death of friend and mentor A$AP Yams, Hackensack, Jersey rapper Retch's grief created a minor back-and-forth between the rapper, Wale, and Fat Trel over the weekend.

Since the death of the 26-year-old on Jan. 18, Retch has posted several photos of the two together while reminiscing on the some of the good times he shared. "Can't stop crying my n*** I'm mad we couldn't do nothing to stop it," he posted on Instagram this week. "I can't even sleep [the] same [this] s*** really killing me. I love you my n*** I was [just] on Facetime with you. This s*** got me sick. It doesn't even feel real."

The rapper continued his sentiments on Twitter later Friday night by tweeting about rappers that should have passed instead of Yams. Among the list was Roscoe Dash, Flo Rida, Scaff Breezy and Wale. Not getting the joke, Wale responded with the tweet, "so I should b dead? U want me to die? Correct? U don't know me but wish death to me." The two continued as Retchy replied, "DEF, WOULD SWAP U OUT FOR MY MANS IN A HEARTBEAT #COLDWORLD"

Fellow D.C native Fat Trel entered the conversation defending Wale with the tweet, "N*** I will [smack] your whole face off, stop playing big."

The two continued to go back and forth with Retchy claiming that the two don't have a beef.
