Even during a low point in 50 Cent's career, the Queens rapper was praised for his first pitch during a game between the Mets and Pirates last year.
50 was awarded with the "Most Memorable First Pitch" at the second annual MLB Social Media Awards for the May 2014 fumble. While the awards took place on the MLB Network in December, the "In Da Club" rapper received the award earlier this week. Fiddy was up against a slew of other disasters like Nick Young's airball during the LA Dodgers game, Bob Costas at the Arizona Cardinals game and Ms. Texas at the Texas Rangers game.
50 wasn't too thrilled about the honor, but showed off the hashtag trophy on Instagram. "These people sent me,the most f***** up pitch award. Ain't this a b****. Lmao But it ain't funny."
