There's finally some good news for Bobby Shmurda. The Brooklyn emcee's attorney, Howard Greenberg, confirmed to REVOLT that the D.A. will be dismissing Shmurda's gun charge, in which he allegedly fired into a crowd outside of a barber shop.

"Brooklyn D.A. office announced that the gun case in Brooklyn will be dismissed in about two weeks," Greenberg told the media outlet earlier this week.

Shmurda, who has been the subject of several rumors over the last few weeks including that he was killed in jail and that he refused bail money from his uncles for stealing from him, is not out of the woods by any means. He still faces a charge of conspiracy to commit murder and reckless endangerment.

The 20-year-old rapper is scheduled to begin trial on January 29.
