Mike Epps sparked outrage after posting a photo to Instagram and Facebook late Thursday night of a black man whipping white slaves as they work in a cotton field.

The racially charged photo, which included an overlay of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s smiling face, was captioned by Epps, "I am so proud of you bro! Lol."

The comedian quickly removed the pic, but not before it had been widely circulated on Twitter and Instagram with most folks understandably not pleased.
