TLC recently announced on VladTV that they began a Kickstarter campaign to raise $150,000 to fund their final group album, a goal that was not only reasonable but perhaps too low, as over a thousand backers raised the entire amount in just two days.
According to their official Kickstarter page, the first $150,000 will go towards a writing session with a producer and engineer. Any money beyond that will go towards booking more producers, writing sessions, mixing sessions, recording sessions, and more behind-the-scenes work needed to complete the album. There are also rewards associated with donating, including everything from a free download of the finished product to a slumber party with T-Boz or workout session with Chilli.
