Kanye West's 2000 felony charge was brought to light during his deposition in a case filed by a paparazzo who claims he was assaulted by the rapper at LAX.
According to TMZ, who read over the deposition, Kanye admitted to being a convicted felon, but says, "I was racially profiled for having a white T-shirt and braids."
The "Blame Game" rapper says that cops arrested him for allegedly stealing printers at an Illinois OfficeMax, but he believes he was framed by police. Kanye also adds that he was a successful producer, and had no reason to steal the printers.
