Chicago rapper Gzus Piece was recently arrested in Ohio and charged with drug possession and heroin trafficking after police pulled over his 2015 Buick Verano and found substantial amounts of drugs and cash in the car.
The 28-year-old rapper, government name Gerik Raglin, was originally stopped by state troopers for speeding on the Ohio Turnpike. Troopers allegedly spotted "criminal indicators" and proceeded to search the vehicle, finding $15,000 in cash and 103 grams of heroin. Raglin was arrested immediately and taken to the Wood County Jail. He is currently being held on $300,000 bail.
Gzus is a part of Chi-town's Treated Crew, with the group's leader and Kanye West's sometime DJ, Million Dollar Mano, speaking out on the incident, saying Raglin will be "transferred back to Illinois to fight the case." As both possession and trafficking are felonies, a conviction here could mean Gzus doing some serious time.
