While Eminem has been know to spit venom over the years, he clearly knows when to turn it off and on, as the Real Slim Shady recently paid a visit to a sick teen whose dying wish it was to meet the clever wordsmith before he passed away.

17-year-old Gage Garmo was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer, Osteosarcoma, and given only one week to live, as it was extremely aggressive. Knowing what a huge Eminem fan he was, friends and family of Gage began the #GetGageGarmoToMeetEminem hashtag on Twitter in an effort to connect him with the rapper. The campaign worked, as Eminem got word of the cause and agreed to meet up with Gage at his home, which coincidentally was only 20 minutes away from his own home in Detroit.

The two reportedly spent about an hour together talking and hanging out this past Sunday (Jan 11), during which Gage was in great spirits. Eminem was also adamant about not creating a spectacle of the situation, keeping the visit very low-key and under the radar.

Royce Da 5'9 was apparently there as well, as he broke the news via Twitter that Gage had passed away Monday (Jan 12), just a day after he parted ways with his favorite rapper.
