Reports surfaced from known satire site Huzlers.com that Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda was recently knifed to death while inside of his Rikers Island jail cell. The site claimed that Shmurda was stabbed to death with a "hidden pocket knife" by his 29-year-old cellmate Antwan Mauldin. They reported that Bobby's song lyrics and celebrity rap personality may have fueled the violent assault. However, despite Huzlers' claims that Shmurda is no longer alive, the Brooklyn MC is in fact alive and still imprisoned at Rikers.
Bobby actually spent Christmas behind bars, along with over a dozen of his GS9 associates as they await trail for their extremely severe charges which consist of attempted murder among other things, and all carry with them a penalty of over 10 years in prison. Many fans fell for the false report from Huzlers and began tweeting frantically trying to get answers to explain the rumor. This isn't the first time that Huzlers has created a massive panic over false stories.
