Rapper and activist Talib Kweli has been a voice from the Hip Hop world who has dedicated time and a lending hand to the people in Ferguson since the death of Michael Brown.

Talib Kweli was forced to humbly brag about his efforts in Ferguson after a Twitter troll constantly slammed him for his motives in the grief-stricken town.

The drama began Sunday evening when Kweli tweeted his thoughts on Macklemore and his efforts with the LGBT community. A Twitter user then accused him of soaking up to white rappers for their money. Kweli informed the user about his friendship with the Seattle rapper, but the user used the opportunity to bash Kweli. The user also claimed his community service efforts towards the people in Ferguson aren't genuine.

Kweli responded to the user with a link to his Indiegogo campaign for the Ferguson Defense Fund, a fund designed to protect the protesters of the police killings in St. Louis. With over $100,000 raised, the critic continued to bash Kweli.

Besides creating the Ferguson Defense Fund, the Black Star rapper has also appeared on CNN and has consistently been a voice of reason with past feats like Occupy Wall Street.
