After taking a few days to assess the situation, Iggy Azalea finally responded to Q-Tip's attempt to give her a history lesson on Hip Hop.

Iggy has been dealing with ongoing issues with Azalia Banks, who recently engaged her in a very heated Twitter battle, while also having to fend off criticism from loads of other fans and celebrity figures.  T.I. has stepped up to defend Iggy after Q-Tip tried to school her, and Lupe Fiasco sounded off on many fans who tried to bash him for showing her some support.

While Q-Tip may have honestly wanted to provide Iggy with some quality education on the history of the Hip Hop culture, Iggy was a bit offended that people would really think that she would get involved with this musical genre without doing the proper research on its roots.  She thanked Lupe Fiasco and also will.i.am for supporting her, and stated that she is no different from anyone else who researches something that they hope to become a part of or that influences them in any way.  Iggy decided that she didn't want to get online and play "hip hop squares" in order to prove that she does in fact have Hip Hop knowledge, and informed the public that it is everyone's free will to either support her music or not.

Check out what Iggy had to say in response to Q-Tip above.
