It's no surprise that the recent death of two police officers by the hand of Ismaaiyl Brinsley has sparked conversations of the suspects mental state, but Game's comment on the matter rubbed his fans the wrong way.

The Compton rapper posted a headline about the shooting on his Instagram Saturday night with the caption, "I guess y'all "can't breathe" either. #RIPEricGarner#AllLivesMatter #ShitHasToChange #Now"

Many believed the rapper was condoning the actions done by Brinsley, causing major backlash online. Some called Game an idiot for his comment, leaving Game to post a lengthy response on the site.

Game explained that the "can't breathe" sentiments were towards the group of police officers who protested for Officer Daniel Panatleo, the officer who killed Eric Garner with an illegal chokehold. He also admitted that he doesn't respect the police, but thinks the slain officers didn't deserve to die.

"The comment in my last post was a DIRECT RESPONSE to the picture above," the rapper said. "I didn't say it was cool that 2 cops were murdered senselessly while sitting in their car. These weren't the cop(s) that killed ERIC GARNER so it wasn't necessary they die in that manner the same as it wasn't AT ALL necessary ERIC GARNER die in the way he did. My comment also suggested that #AllLivesMatter &#ShitNeedsToChangeNow but you simple minded f**** skipped right over the real message to pull whatever negativity you could from my post."

Check out his lengthy response above.
