While Jay Z and Beyonce may be one of the most balling couples in the game right now, they can still be bested by other financial top dogs from other professional lanes.

Recently, the "Drunk In Love" pair competed with 35-year-old Swedish video game programmer Markus Persson in a bidding war for a 23,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills.  Bey and Jay both made some hefty bids on the incredible property; however, they were bested by Persson who dropped a whopping $70 million on the lavish home.  Persson recently sold his hit video game creation, Minecraft, to Microsoft for $2.5 billion, so he definitely has some change to toss around.

Looks like Jay and Bey will have to set their sights on another high quality home, and hope that they won't have to compete with another billionaire in order to seal the deal.
