Ashanti's longtime alleged stalker, Devar Hurd is defending himself against accusations of inappropriate contact with the Long Island songstress, saying Ashanti never blocked his messages or social media accounts, which to him indicated that there wasn't a problem with his behavior.

"I believe evidence will show me tweet [about] adult-to-adult consensual sex, lovemaking and emotional heartbreak with the same complainant," said Hurd, while representing himself in a Manhattan courtroom on Monday. "I simply had non-violent, non-threatening written communication on a Web site made just for socializing. She could have ended the communication if she wanted by blocking me."

Hurd may have a point, but his history of directly contacting Ashanti and her mother Tina have put the Douglas family on high alert, as he sent a picture of his privates to the "Foolish" singer's mom in hopes of it getting to her.

Tweets from Hurd's account were also read aloud in court, with him tweeting everything from comments on the BET Awards to sexually explicit details of what he'd do to her if given the chance. Check out some of the messages in question above.

Do you think Hurd has a chance of walking away because Ashanti didn't block him via social media? Sound off below.
