Last week, Lil Wayne aired out his frustrations with longtime mentor Birdman and Cash Money Records, saying he wants "nothing to do with these people" after Baby refused to drop his long-awaited album, "Tha Carter V." On Thursday, Weezy went on record via Twitter saying he's only repping his own brand, Young Money, at this point. According to TMZ, however, Birdman is going to make sure Wayne is still on his Cash Money roster, as the gossip site is reporting that the Cash Money CEO will not let Wayne out of his deal, no matter how much he kicks and screams.

Reportedly, sources close to Birdman say he was "deeply offended" by Lil Wayne's twitter rant on a personal level. However, when it comes to business, a contract is still a contract and Baby is willing to go to court if necessary to keep Wayne under Cash Money. Sources close to the Rich Gang leader also say the album delay is due to administrative work, and that Wayne doesn't get that, as he's "just a rapper." As many albums as the "Go DJ" MC has dropped, however, many believe there's no way Weezy isn't aware of the paperwork involved, and that there really is a nonsensical reason the album has yet to hit the streets.
