Now that the hype behind the long overdue Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight has regained its former peak, Manny is doing whatever he can to make sure that Floyd doesn't avoid stepping into the ring with him in the near future.
During his post-fight press conference after defeating Chris Algieri, Manny expressed his eagerness to finally step in the ring with Mayweather. Since then, Mayweather has trolled Pacman by uploading a video of him getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez, and Pacman responded during an interview, further expressing his will to fight Floyd. Most recently, Pacman took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself hitting Algieri with a crushing straight left-cross, along with a caption directly calling out Floyd.
Manny believes that Floyd has been ducking him for years and made it very clear in his post. "Stop throwing punches on Instagram and let's get in the ring! #TBE #TheBestExcuses," Manny wrote, redefining Mayweather's "The Best Ever" ethos.
Fans were very pleased to see Manny take such a direct shot at Floyd and showed their support in full. Only time will tell to see if and how Floyd responds, and more importantly, if they ever step in the ring together.
