Dame Dash and Curren$y have had a bit of a back and forth going on between them for quite some time, stemming from Curren$y's claims that the Roc-A-Fella co-founder sold his music without official rights after the two parted ways once the "Saturday Night Car Tunes" rapper signed to Warner Bros. in 2011. He claims that Dash was improperly assisting his deal with WB and soon filed the suit demanding injunction against him for dropping his songs, and also sought $1.5 million in damages.

Dash then claimed he dropped the music because he had permission to do so and accused the rapper of shady practices for choosing to sign with WB over him. However, it appears that Dame has forgotten all about the dispute, as he's reportedly been ignoring the case for several months.

Curren$y is now demanding Dash cough up $2.9 million in damages plus $95,000 in legal fees, claiming in court docs that Dash has lost him money by releasing music without official consent, and is also accusing the music mogul of violating court order by refusing to hire new attorneys (Dame's lawyer reportedly dropped him as a client claiming he couldn't fully pay his legal bills) which in turn has extended the case longer than necessary.
