With the Cassidy vs. Dizaster match fast approaching, every Battle Rap fan has been pondering who will be victorious once they square off and exchange bars on December 6th at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles. Gillie Da Kid recently chopped it up with HipHopDX and shared his predictions for the battle, which may surprise some people.
When asked if he thinks Cassidy has the lyrical and performance skills to defeat Dizaster, Gillie confidently replied, "Absolutely."
"And it's gonna be easy work," he added. "Easy. No disrespect to Dizaster. It's just my opinion. If Dizaster come in and give Cassidy the business I'll come back on camera and say, 'Listen, my ni**a, I was wrong ni**a, I salute you.' It ain't no disrespect 'cause I f*ck with him as well. I watch the battle sh*t from time to time. I f*ck with Dizaster. But me personally? My personal opinion. Easy work. It's just the Philly in me, man I'm so Philly. I'm so Philadelphia. I can't help it."
While there are many fans who share the belief that Cassidy will beat Dizaster, calling one of the most respected Battle Rappers in the world "easy work," is a bold statement to say the least. Do you agree?
