"Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star Tammy Rivera got backlash after telling Instagram fans that "black is black, no matter what you're mixed with." Her statement caught some off guard, with some saying that Tammy was saying her black race was superior.
She later sent out a statement to explain her previous post, and called out fans for saying Tammy was shading her Hispanic side.
