Comedian/actress Niecy Nash raised a lot of people's blood pressure after posting an Instagram image addressing fashion choices that some people from Black communities choose to make.  She combined an image of Martin Luther King Jr. standing alongside fellow activists, with an image of random black men all standing in the street with their pants sagging low below their buttocks.

The image of MLK was accompanied by the words "When they took us seriously," while the image of male cheeks stated, "why they don't now."  Niecy was trying to bring awareness to how appearance has shifted the way Black people are viewed now as opposed to years prior during the time of the Civil Rights movement.  Some people cosigned her post, while others were offended by the message and feel as though people shouldn't be wrongfully judged based off of their image.

Check out the responses to Niecy Nash's sagging pants post above.  Do you agree with her views?
