A 17-year-old Venice, Florida, student was arrested Friday for human trafficking of a person younger than 18, a felony, after allegedly setting up a high school prostitution ring, organized by the young woman and a friend via Facebook. According to local news outlets, at least one act of prostitution was committed within the ring, while more are being investigated and verified.

21-year-old John Michael Mosher has been arrested for reportedly paying $40 and a bottle of liquor to the ringleader in order to have sex with a 15-year-old student at a community pool shed, and when she tried to back out, he forced himself on her.

Local police heard about a rumored prostitution ring from four girls at Venice High School, which is near the alleged leader's Riverview High School. The girls told police that the young woman in question and another teenage boy approached them to join the ring, with the plan being for johns to pay $50 for oral sex and $100 for sex with a virgin.

"Why pimp out old hoes when I have fresh young hoes I can give up for money?" the student in question wrote in one Facebook exchange to a "business partner," adding, "As long as I'm getting paid I'm trafficking all these (expletive deleted)."

More arrests are expected throughout the week. See the alleged leader and her "client" mugshots above.
