Last night, November 24th, the United States justice system came into question once again after Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson got off completely for shooting and killing unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown.  When the news broke that the grand jury decided not to charge Wilson with any crime for taking the slain teen's life, civil unrest erupted throughout the country.

In New York, NYPD Police Commissioner Bill Bratton was sprayed with fake blood on his face and suit, while peaceful protests went down throughout the city.  Oakland, CA., and many other places had large rallies gather in light of the jury's decision; however, the real chaos occurred in Ferguson.  Residents and visitors alike took to the streets and set cars and buildings on fire, and engaged in all sorts of angry outbursts.

The news has not sat well with anyone who has paid any attention to this case, including celebrities who've also voiced their opinion online.  Adrian Peterson even took to Twitter and shared his disappointment over the verdict; however, he made one comment in particular that upset his many followers who read it.  Adrian tweeted:

"The GRAND JURY DECIDED NOT TO INDICT ME TOO! But that changed a week LATER! MAYBE,BUT NOT LIKELY N THIS CASE #PUTyourTrustNGODnotINtheWORLD!"

While Adrian's statement was meant with positive intentions by basically saying that there may still be hope for Darren Wilson to be indicted in the near future, many people didn't like the fact that he would relate his child abuse case to a police officer killing an unarmed teenager.  Peterson didn't pay much attention to the negative responses that he got, and continued to tweet religious messages and just positive thoughts about the situation as a whole.

The lack of attention that he paid to the criticisms didn't stop people from continuing to bash him.  Check out Adrian's tweets and fan reactions above.
