New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony recently sat down with ESPN The Magazine to discuss upcoming business ventures and attempts to broaden his brand beyond basketball, with one strong take-away being how much Anthony loves his moolah.

During the interview, Carmelo shares just how much and how long he's had a love affair with cash, saying that he was almost robbed at gunpoint for a twenty while living in Baltimore at 14 years old. Instead of giving up the dough, he decided to take his chances and make a run for it. Unfortunately, the NBA baller doesn't get too in-depth with the story but he clearly has been about his money for a while.
