Daylyt caused an uproar over his most recent Instagram post, where he chose to throw negativity over the infamous day in U.S. history, 9/11, while trying to bring awareness to the slavery that plagued our nation for many, many years.

Daylyt posted a photo of himself throwing up the middle finger at a sign hanging up that read, "9/11/01 'Never Forget'."  He added an informative caption which helped his followers understand that he wasn't throwing random shade at that tragic day, but rather expressing his disapproval over the "never forget" message that has been associated with it, which he believes is the opposite for remembering slavery. Daylyt wrote:

"They tell us to 4 get about slavery because it's the past and people are over it but yet make shore (sure) they tell us to never 4 get about 911 sigh."

While his intentions may have just been to bring awareness to a certain part of American history that he believes many people try to forget, Daylyt "flipping the bird" at the 9/11 sign didn't sit too well with some fans.  People commented on his photo and pointed out that 9/11 was a day that had nothing to do with racial issues, but rather thousands of innocent lives taken by an extremely horrific act.  There were many of his fans who cosigned Daylyt's post, and believe that America tries to make Black people forget about slavery and move on, despite the fact that they have been conditioned to live as "lower" than White people since they were first brought on to United States soil.

Check out the drama above.  Do you agree with Daylyt's views, or do you think he went too far by flipping off the remembrance of 9/11/01?
