As the days grow closer towards Darren Wilson's fate in the murder of unarmed teen Michael Brown, Nelly spoke to Lamont Hill of the Huffpost Live on a possible indictment of the officer and how Ferguson plays a huge role in his life.

Nelly made headlines when he headed to Ferguson to support peaceful protesters in September. He also spoke on the death of the teen on Instagram and encouraged other artists like Chris Brown, Wale, Lil Mama and more to participate in a special moment of silence in California. During his sit down with Hill, the rapper salutes the people of St. Louis for the powerful message they're sending around the world about the case.

"At the end of the day, that's our own neighborhood," he said. "What I would try to say is, let's think first. I would definitely say your feelings are not unjust. Because I feel you. I feel you so much. Again, it's a tug-of-war, because I don't know if we would be getting the attention if we weren't yelling so loud. You see what I'm saying? If we weren't yelling so loud, would people be coming down and paying attention to what's happening? I can't fault that neither. It's a tough thing to battle, man, but you just hope that we're learning from the situation and being able to move on from it."

Wilson is predicted to meet with a grand jury either this week or the following week to find out if he will face charges for the murder. New evidence was brought to light in October when a second autopsy revealed Brown had gun residue on his hand when he died, suggesting that there was a scuffle for the gun inside of Wilson's car before he was killed. Nelly says he's worried that the jury won't indict Wilson on the charges.

"My brother, I am worried," he said. "At the end of the day, you know that what could happen may not be the best thing to happen. But on the other hand, I understand why it's happening. That's the hardest thing. It's that tug-of-war with yourself."
