Legendary former boxing champion Mike Tyson made a shocking revelation on Wednesday, October 29th, during an interview with SiriusXM's Opie Radio show. Everyone who knows about Mike Tyson knows that he's come from a very troubled past that includes being incarcerated both as a young boy and as a man, but no one ever knew that he was a victim of sexual abuse as a young child.
The 48-year-old former champ revealed for the very first time that he was sexually abused at 7 years old by a strange man who abducted him from the street.
"He snatched me off the street," Tyson recalled. "I was a little kid...[he was an] old man. [He] bullied me, sexually abused me and stuff. Never seen him again. I just went on with my life."
Apparently the incident only occurred once, and when asked if the traumatizing molestation has affected him as an adult, Tyson replied:
"I don't know if it did or not. I don't always remember, but maybe I do but I don't. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed by it."
Despite all of the hardships that he's lived through, Mike Tyson has gone on to be one of the most renowned former boxing champions, and later became a beloved entertainer on various platforms.
