Ray J used his platform on Love and Hip Hop Hollywood to explain that he doesn't have a drinking problem following his arrest in July.
In Monday night's episode, the singer spoke on his summer arrest and says he was detained for allegedly touching a woman. While there was no woman present, Ray J's hasty behavior led to his arrest.
When asked by a friend if he was under the influence of alcohol, the singer admits he was but it had little to do with the arrest.
"I do turn up and yes I like to drink," he said. "But I am not an alcoholic...I don't have a drinking problem but I do have a problem with people f***** with me when I'm drinking."
Ray J was reminded by his friend Cash that during some of his biggest quarrels on the show, including his fights with Teairra Mari, he was drinking. Ray went on to deny the claims.
"I f****** up about this one. I admit that. I feel terrible about it," he said. "I don't drink everyday. I don't gotta drink. I don't wake up and drink. I do turn up and yes I like to drink, but I am not an alcoholic.... if you can abide by the rules of Ray J then everything is all straight."
