Despite the fact that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have boatloads of money at their disposal, it looks like they'll be making their daughter North work for the things that she wants in this world.  In an interview with ES Magazine, Kim reflected on how her parents never gave her and her siblings "anything" which led to them having to get jobs and work for the things that they wanted.  She stated that her friends were a bit shocked that she was going to make her daughter get a job and earn her own money, but Kim believes that is something that people need in order to learn what it really means to have things of your own.

"I saved up for this Dolce & Gabbana dress I really wanted, or like in high school these Prada shoes that my parents wouldn't buy me," Kim said.  "And I remember they were $400, and I had to save for the entire year to get them ... We didn't get anything [from my parents], we had to get a job if we wanted it. So I was working in a clothing store and I would save and save.

"I was saying that earlier to my friends, 'I wonder what [North's] first job is gonna be.' And they were like, 'What? She's gonna have a job?' and I was like, 'Are you kidding me? Of course she is.' She will have to work for what she wants."

How do you feel about Kim K enforcing North West being independent and earning her own money, instead of being spoon-fed for life off of what Kim and Kanye have already earned?
