While Ray Rice is still dealing with public backlash over footage of him knocking out his wife in an Atlantic City elevator, he still feels the Raven's were in the wrong to terminate his contract. Why? His legal team is citing double jeopardy.

Rice feels he was truthful with his team and the NFL, and that based on their own assessment of the facts available at the time, they chose to give him a two-game suspension for his acts. Whether or not the public thinks that's still fair after the additional footage was released simply isn't Rice's problem, from his legal team's perspective.

The former Raven has now filed a grievance against his former team for terminating his contract, seeking $3.52 million from the Ravens, the amount he would've made if reinstated as of week three of the regular season.
