Officer Darren Wilson has spoken out for the first time following the death of unarmed teen Michael Brown.

According to Global Grind, the officer was interviewed about the shooting in Ferguson by investigators. His version of events tells a different story told by witnesses who saw the shooting. Wilson says that the two struggled for his gun after Wilson tried to arrest him.

He also claimed that the scuffle happened inside the police car as Brown punched and scratched him leaving him with marks on his face. It was then that Wilson fired two shots, with one shot missing Brown and the other hitting him in the arm.

Wilson pointed out that he feared for his life which is why he shot the unarmed teenager. Police are still trying to figure out why more than five shots were fired at the teenager if he had his hands in the air like many witnesses have stated.

Forensics have added that Brown's blood was found on Wilson's uniform and gun. The evidence seems to bring more questions than answers in the case.

A grand jury is expected to release a decision of the officer's fate in November.
