Bobby Shmurda's manager and mother, Leslie Pollard, has come forward to explain her son's recent rant about not getting paid from his hit single, "Hot N***."

In an interview with Billboard, Pollard explains that her son doesn't understand that many others have to be paid before he gets his percentage.

"It's not that he's not getting paid, it's that he's new to the business," she said."There's a chain of command that he has to go through before he gets his payment. I guess he's thinking all the money should go from the front man to his hands -- it doesn't work like that. Of course they hold onto it so he actually does the show. Then it goes to his business manager, then to the touring accountant, and then to him."

Pollard has been acting as his manager for two months.

Shmurda has since deleted his rant and is instead focused on celebrating the single taking the top spot on iTunes and rising to No. 10 on the Billboard charts.
