Things just got real for former MMA fighter War Machine.
It is being reported that the embattled athelete, born Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver, who is currently awaiting trial for brutally beating his ex girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack, attempted to kill himself late Tuesday evening.
According to TMZ, the ex-MMA fighter, who is being held in Las Vegas' Clark County Jail, was discovered hanging in his cell with his bedsheets tied around his neck as a makeshift noose. Officials also uncovered what is believed to be a suicide note on the floor nearby.
War Machine, who has since been placed in a medical isolation unit on suicide watch, is fighting 32 different felony charges and faces life in prison without parole if convicted.
