Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested on Columbus Day at the Dillards store inside the Stone Briar Mall in Frisco, TX., for shoplifting a few fairly random and affordable items. While the items in question might not be affordable if you're only carrying twenty dollars in your pocket a la Macklemore's "Thrift Shop," they still were not out of his price range, so his reasons for attempting to swipe the goods are unknown.
Randle was stopped by the loss prevention officers while he tried to leave the store, which is when they found the items that he tried to keep hidden. Randle was arrested for a Class B Theft Misdemeanor, which counts for stolen goods from the price of $50 - $500. According to police, Randle tried to leave with a tester bottle of Gucci Guilty Black cologne which costs $84, and also a pair of $39.40 Polo underwear.
Since news broke of Randle's arrest, fans have gone in on Twitter. Some were utterly shocked at the fact that he got arrested in general, while others were taking shots at him for getting popped shoplifting underwear. Check out the reactions above.
