The recently reignited talks of Manny Pacquiao fighting Floyd Mayweather have sparked quite a bit of controversy between ESPN sports analyst Stephen A. Smith and The Money Team founder, Floyd Mayweather.  Smith initially called out Floyd on an episode of First Take for choosing a fight with Amir Khan as his next opponent, as opposed to the man that everyone has been waiting 8 long years to see, Manny Pacquiao.  Floyd took notice to Smith's comments and lashed out on the reporter during an interview with Fight Hype.  Stephen A. has since responded, and defended his stance that Floyd needs to fight Pacquiao before he retires.

Even though Stephen A. Smith is perfectly capable of defending himself against Floyd in a war of words, his friend and Floyd's boxing rival, Manny Pacquiao, jumped in to support Stephen's comments.  Manny took to Twitter and posted a video of Stephen A. responding to Floyd on ESPN's First Take, and also tweeted that he has the right to say whatever he wants thanks to the First Amendment that has been a part of the United States Bill of Rights since 1791.

Check out Manny's response to Floyd, above.  After 8 long years, do you still want to see this fight happen?  Floyd has two fights left on his contract, so after this clash with Khan, he may close the show with one final bout vs. Pacquiao.  If not, there will be a lot of angry fans and screaming boxing critics haunting his legacy for the years to come.
