Too Short invited some of his famous friends to the launch party of The Magic Gate production facility in California.
Too Short along with co-owner Monica Payne have spent time studying artist development with the launch of The Magic Gate, a digital production company that covers every aspect of the creating process for potential clients. The company will also serve as a form of production for major brands with photography studios, recording booths and classes for artists who are interested in perfecting their craft.
Short says he's interested in helping out acts from all genres as well as helping them grow in the digital world.
"I just want to help all talent, no matter what type of music," he said. "We've built something that we can offer to artists in this digital age. It's just all about dreams coming true, mine included. Magical things will happen; careers will be started. The people we have here [at Magic Gate] are all talented and we're putting our blood, sweat and tears into this...we know the rewards will come later," he explains.
Celebrities including Rosa Acosta, Cedric The Entertainer and Affion Crockett came out to celebrate the launch of the company.
