Celebrity tattoo artist Michael "Trigz" Pebley, also known as Mr. Trigger was shot and killed Thursday. His frequent collaborator and most famous client, Chris Brown reacted to the tragic news on Twitter Friday night.
"RIP Homie. S** is crazy!" he tweeted.
Tigz was known as a huge staple in the celebrity tattoo world. He's also worked with Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Mobb Deep and Travis Barker.
Barker, who has known the artist for years shared his grief on Twitter.
"Rest In Peace @mr_trigz," tweeted. "When I heard the news I didn't wanna believe it. Sick to my stomach. You were a great friend. A great Dad / family man and great everything. They don't make em like you. Gone to soon, you will be greatly missed by many. Love u brother #RIPMRTRIGZ"
Fans came out to his Sin City Tattoo shop to make memorials for the artist.
"He was a really good guy," said mourner Desirae Howell. "He was a family man. He was very intelligent."
Fans have also created a GoFundMe to help pay for his funeral expenses. Over $20,000 of the family's $100,000 goal has been raised in just one day.
The 40-year-old is survived by his fiance and five children.
