Back when Soulja Boy was arrested in January for driving with the possession of a firearm, things weren't looking too good for the "Crank That" rapper. However, it looks like Soulja will be getting off with light charges nearly eight months later.  A .38 caliber Smith & Wesson was found underneath the seat of the Porsche Panamera he was riding in when police pulled him over, but Soulja was adamant that the vehicle belonged to his neighbor, who also stashed the gun under the seat.  He was arrested promptly for the firearm, along with possession of marijuana.

Even though it's taken a very long time for this matter to be addressed, Soulja has dodged a legal bullet after news broke that he will only be facing misdemeanor charges instead of serious felony offenses which could've resulted in him serving some serious time.
