As Rich Homie Quan's father remains in the hospital, the rapper thanked fans for the well wishes, as well as birthday messages on Saturday.
The rapper celebrated his 25th birthday over the weekend and took to Instagram to talk to his fans.
"Yeah, man, I'm getting old and s***. You dig? I just woke up and s*** and I'm getting old. Today's my f****** born day and I'm gonna live it up. Thanks to everybody, man."
Quan's father, Cory Lamar was shot multiple times earlier this week by an unknown shooter. Witness believe Lamar was targeted because of RHQ's celebrity status, while others believe that Quan's potential issues with other rappers could be the reason.
His label released a statement on the shooting this week, informing everyone on Lamar's stable condition status.
