Soulja Boy's legal troubles have returned due to his gun charge earlier this year.
According to TMZ, prosecutors from the case have just charged the Love and Hip Hop Hollywood star with a misdemeanor for illegal possession of a firearm.
The rapper was arrested in January after police found the gun while Soulja was in the passenger seat of a car with a friend. Soulja has made it clear that the Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver wasn't his, and was left in the car by a neighbor.
Prosecutors have also charged the rapper with possession of marijuana.
The rapper remains positive and focused on his music as he tweeted words of encouragement to his fans.
