Martin Lawrence's self-titled TV show, 'Martin,' was a hit in the mid-90's known for capturing the best of urban fashion, music, and perspective in a unique, funny, and real way.
Well it seems as if the legendary comedian and Fox are ready to bring a new version of the hit show back in 2015. The entire original cast is slated to return -- except for Tisha Campbell-Martin who infamously accused Martin of sexual harassment in 1996 and refused to film with him during the show's 5th and final season.
Rumor had it that in this new version, R&B singer Ashanti would pick up the mantle in the icon role of Gina.
A local CBS affiliate in the area initially ran with the reports, momentarily giving them validity, but it has since been discovered that the source of the news is satirircal in nature.
