August Alsina has been discharged from the hospital.
The singer announced the good news on Twitter Tuesday evening. August fainted during his performance in New York last week and was in a coma for reportedly three days.
Reports claimed that the singer was suffering from severe dehydration.
August tweeted, "Healthy enough to b Discharged from the hospital today... Scariest time of my life.. but im a soulja & so is God.Thankyou for your prayers."
Many of his celebrity friends wished him well including Sevyn Streeter, Tyrese, Kevin Hart and Nicki Minaj, who spent some time with the singer in the hospital.
His upcoming shows were put on hold and it is currently unknown if the singer will tour with Usher in November.
