Kendrick Lamar has kept fans on their toes about his follow up to good kid, m.A.A.d city, and now the wait is over.

Kendrick's much anticipated single "i" will be released to the web Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. The record will be the first single off Kendrick's sophomore album. 

The news comes just days before the rapper released the cover art of the single with gang rivals standing together. 

Kendrick's "i" will sample the Isley Brothers' 1973 version of their soul hit, "That Lady."
