Celebrities headed down to Atlanta this weekend for the BET Hip Hop Awards.

The show, hosted by Snoop Dogg was taped at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center and featured a few surprises for the audience including a recorded cypher from Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and Common.

Some of the night's biggest winners included DJ Mustard for "Producer of the Year," Future won "Best Club Banger" for "Move That Dope," and Doug E. Fresh was awarded the "I Am Hip Hop Award."

Fresh held back tears as he thanked his fans and paid homage to his mother who died of Alzheimer's disease in May.

"I have to acknowledge her," he said. "I want to thank this woman and hip-hop. If it wasn't for hip-hop, I don't know where I would be."

The show will air on BET on October 14.
