Last week, a performance by superstar Rihanna was scheduled to air as the game-opening sequence for last Thursday's Steelers vs. Ravens game; however, in an effort to minimize backlash over the recent Ray Rice incident, CBS didn't want to air a performance from the Barbadian beauty who was also involved in a domestic violence incident, and proceeded to cancel her appearance.

CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus says, "We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone coverage."

Rihanna took to Twitter this morning to call out the network for the move, saying they were dead wrong for punishing her for something she had nothing to do with, and the singer is furious the network is now doing a reversal and wants to play "Run This Town," the track she was initially set to perform last week, during this Thursday's programming.

Check out her response and flicks of Riri above. Is Rihanna right for calling out the network, or can you understand their need to play it safe right now? Sound off below.
