With Troy Ave and Bobby Shumurda being the talk of the new breed of rappers coming from New York, Troy shared his thoughts on what it means for the city.

In an interview with XXL, the BSB rapper talks about his upcoming "Money, Powder, Respect" tour, his rumored signing to T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, and how he feels about Bobby Shmurda.

With the success of fellow Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda, Troy says he respects the 20-year-old's grind.

"Yeah, I support anybody that's trying to do their thing, as long as everybody is being straight," he said. "I support everybody. I f*** with everybody's s***. I be doing my own thing so much that it is whatever. I'm focused like a mother******."

He also said he respects the new rappers from the Big Apple, but he's focused on his music.

"I think everybody coming out of New York is good for the city," he said. "I don't even really be thinking about other rappers. I've been doing my thing for so much. Just focusing on Young Lito and BSB. I just been so busy doing my thing that I don't even be thinking about other rappers or hearing none of their stuff unless it's on the radio or whatever. I think everybody doing their thing is good. It's good for the city."

Despite the rumors, Troy also says he doesn't plan to sign with T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, but he's open to have a special partnership with the label.

"It would a partnership, it wouldn't be a signing deal with BSB Records," he said. "It'd be a signing deal and we'd go for a joint venture. I'm not a regular artist. I am a CEO. I'm a businessman. I'm like Jay Z was to Roc-A-Fella. That's what I am to BSB Records."
